About Finance-Degree.com
Finance-Degree.com is a U.S.-based resource for students, career changers, and lifelong learners exploring business, finance, and accounting degrees, along with the everyday money decisions that come with them. When the topic gets technical, we explain it in plain language.
Our Mission
We turn confusing degree, career, and money decisions into ones you can actually make. Compare programs. Plan a career change. Figure out what a salary number really means for your life. That’s what we’re here for.
Who’s Behind Our Content
Our contributors bring more than 45 years of combined experience in banking, finance, accounting, investments, mortgage lending, real estate, insurance, and business operations, including roles at firms such as UBS and U.S. Bank. Several hold degrees in business, finance, or accounting, and some worked in positions that required industry licensing in securities or lending.
We don’t provide individualized financial advice, and we don’t recommend specific schools, degrees, or career paths. Our job is to give you the information, so you can decide what’s best for you. For more on the experience behind our work, visit our Contributors page.
How We Keep Content Accurate
Our content is grounded in facts, shaped by real industry experience, and held to editorial standards that don’t bend for advertisers. Every article gets fact-checked and reviewed by someone with subject-matter experience, linked to authoritative sources such as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics for career and salary figures, and updated when the facts change.
Something looks outdated or off? Contact us. We take correction requests seriously.
How We’re Supported
We earn compensation through affiliate links to some of the schools, education providers, and companies featured on this site. That money funds our research and writing, but it doesn’t shape what we say about any school, program, or product. Full details are in our Important Disclosure.
Everything here is general educational information, not individualized financial, legal, tax, career, or admissions advice.
Get Involved
Got a career story, an educational insight, or a lesson worth sharing? We’re not always hiring, but we’re always glad to hear from students, graduates, educators, and finance professionals. Reach out and introduce yourself.
